The city of Shanghai recently fined five hotels for using Disney marks on signs and websites without Disney’s authorization. Disney is developing a $5.5 billion theme park in Shanghai, its first theme park in China. The fine of 100,000 yuan ($15,644) was issued to Shenzhen Vienna Hotels Group, which owns all five hotels.
