Friday Factoid: Annual Holiday To Celebrate Intellectual Property

On April 26 of each year, World Intellectual Property Day is observed across the globe with events and activities designed to increase people’s appreciation and understanding of intellectual property. April 26 was chosen as the day to celebrate this holiday because on this day in 1970, WIPO (The World Intellectual Property Organization) was created as an agency of the United Nations.
