We asked five local captains of industry to weigh in on what their executive team would say about their leadership style. Here is what they had to say:
Chris Fedde President Hexis Cyber Solutions
Detect, disrupt, remediate: defense from inside the network
That’s a good question, so I asked someone who has been with me for a long time. He indicated my “artful” part was taking my ideas, adding in new ideas and steering them to the goals I set, while ensuring the team is totally supportive of the execution. I liked that answer, so I didn’t ask anyone else.
Founder & CEO
Creative marketing, design & development
Always present but not always vocal. I try not to be the disruptive CEO that chimes in and changes direction at the last minute. I respect and recognize the value each team member brings to the table. I also support and push each “Groove-r” to learn and grow, both personally and professionally. My background isn’t typical, and either is my leadership style. Because of that, I also tend to stress that we don’t always look for the typical background in Groove employees. Life is about the journey and not necessarily the test score. so I tend to recruit and retain folks that have interesting experiences that can enhance our clients’ businesses.
