Friday Factoid: The Invention of the Frisbee®
In 1938, Walter Frederick Morrisson (inventor of the flying plastic disc now known as the Frisbee®) quickly realized an opportunity to sell his discs for a profit. This realization occurred when Morrison and his girlfriend were tossing a cake pan to each other on the beach in Santa Monica.
