Late last year, Offit Kurman co-founder Maurice Offit was interviewed by Executive Leaders Radio. In it, he explains who Offit Kurman is and what makes the law firm successful and unique. Executive Leaders Radio recently released an online edition of their radio show from October 2013. “I think we are better than anyone else, because we are trusted advisors. We go ahead and we put clients’ legal problems in our lap and we say it’s our job to help our clients get through their problems,” explains Offit after being asked what makes Offit Kurman better than anyone else. “I think it’s how you come across to your clients,” he added. “You want to be honest. You know, you want to think for the long term. I could tell you, our firm’s philosophy is never go ahead and bill a client on a short term basis. You know, make sure the client gets value for the legal services that you get. Clients appreciate that and they become loyal clients for a long, long time.” Mr. Offit also addresses his family, his relationship with his brother and fellow co-founder Ted Offit, the ups and downs of the legal industry, and, of course, the secret to the firm’s success: treating clients fairly. This interview is now available online. Click Here to listen to the entire podcast. The segment featuring Mr. Offit begins at 26:48.
