PRACTICE FOCUS

Scott Tippett focuses his practice on corporate, business, intellectual property, and tax issues for individuals, families, and small to mid-sized closely held companies.

Mr. Tippett began practicing law in 1987 in Atlanta, litigating major construction project disputes, complex white-collar crime matters, and significant business and estate issues. In addition to practicing law, he ran a manufacturing company in High Point in the mid-1990s, which has provided him with a unique and broad perspective on understanding the various issues faced by business owners and managers.

Mr. Tippett frequently presents continuing education seminars to attorneys, accountants, financial advisors, and other industry professionals regarding estate and asset protection planning, business law, and tax matters. Mr. Tippett is a NCDRC Certified Mediator- Superior Court.
