Jessica Heath is an attorney in Offit Kurman’s Family Law Practice Group. She focuses her practice on family law matters including, divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, alimony, property distribution, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, adoption and family mediation.
Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Ms. Heath served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Coordinating Judge for the Family Division in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, Maryland. In that capacity, she was responsible for domestic law matters such as divorce, child custody, visitation, child support, alimony, property distribution and guardianship of the property. Ms. Heath was also responsible for various civil and criminal matters including, post-conviction petitions, oral arguments, on the record appeals, and review of sentences.
Ms. Heath graduated magna cum laude from Howard University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and a Minor in Psychology. She received her Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law in 2019 with a certification in family law. While earning her law degree, Ms. Heath served as the Vice President of the Family Law Society, in which she was dedicated to assisting economically disadvantaged families in D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
