Jenny Beaumont is a member of the Financial Institutions Regulatory Practice Group and represents mortgage lenders and financial institutions in all aspects of the mortgage origination process. She provides advice to clients on existing state and federal laws and regulations that govern the mortgage industry, including fair lending, ECOA, TILA, RESPA, FHA, FCRA, E-Sign, and applicable Privacy rules. Ms. Beaumont also assists clients in developing and implementing comprehensive compliance audit programs and provides guidance to clients that is both regulatorily compliant as well as practical and business-focused. She has a special interest in how AI and machine learning can facilitate more comprehensive compliance monitoring and in helping clients identify how data analytics can provide more meaningful monitoring for high risk regulatory areas. Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Ms. Beaumont worked for a large national bank as well as a non-depository lender where she led of team of compliance professionals supporting residential lending via multiple sales channels including correspondent, consumer direct, phone, and branch operations as well as providing compliance support to the processing, underwriting, and post-closing functions within operations.
