Diane S. Kotkin is an estate planning attorney and Chair of Offit Kurman’s Estate Planning Practice Group. As an experienced legal advisor, Ms. Kotkin assists clients in virtually all estate planning matters—including complex wills and trusts, probate procedures, tax return preparation, valuation of assets, and estate and trust accountings. Her clients have ranged from business owners and women professionals to individuals and families of wealth. From corporate fiduciaries to personal representatives and trustees, Ms. Kotkin’s clients rely on her to provide peace of mind and security for their organizations, their families, and themselves. Ms. Kotkin:

  • Specializes in complex trusts, wills and estate administration, tax planning, gifting programs, and estate tax controversies
  • Advises individuals and corporate fiduciaries on implementing wills and trusts, probate procedures, preparing tax returns, valuation of assets, and rendering estate and trust accountings
  • Represents individuals and corporate fiduciaries in the estate administration process including probate and trust administration, preparation of estate tax returns and accountings, and overall estate administration matters
  • Minimizes or eliminates the need for court approval or intervention into her clients’ affairs should they pass away or become disabled
  • Tailors individual estate plans to ease the transmission of personal wealth and to achieve personal and philanthropic goals
