With nearly 30 years of experience, David N. Goldberg has built a diverse practice encompassing business litigation and family law. While David is an accomplished litigator who prides himself in mastering the skills of trial advocacy, he also strives to help his clients find out-of-court solutions to their disputes and legal issues whenever appropriate.
David handles a wide variety of business and commercial litigation matters. Drawing on both his entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen, David has handled diverse business cases over the years and enjoys helping clients solve their unique challenges and legal issues. He represents businesses and individuals in contract disputes, business and commercial litigation, business collections, corporate litigation, shareholder and partnership disputes, business torts and employment law.
A sub-focus of David’s practice is colloquially referred to as “business divorce.” This niche practice area focuses on internal disputes between partners, shareholders, co-owners, investors and members of closely held business entities. Internal business disputes can have complex ramifications for the business and sweeping consequences for the individuals who have invested their time and money in the business. While leadership teams often do their best to resolve internal disputes, sometimes the dissolution or division of the business becomes unavoidable. David has extensive experience helping stakeholders facing a “business divorce” tackle the varied and often complex legal issues involved.
David also has a full-service family law practice that covers the full gamut of family law matters: divorce, equitable distribution and asset division, child custody and visitation, spousal support, child support and premarital agreements. David takes pride in guiding his clients through the challenging and often highly complex family law issues they confront.
While pursuing his undergraduate degree at Bucknell University, David was inducted to the Phi Beta Kappa honor society and was a member of Bucknell's wrestling team.
"I work hard every day to earn the trust and confidence of my clients, and to earn the respect of the opposing counsel I work with. There really is no other way to succeed in the practice of law."
