Alec C. Roberson focuses on estate planning and administration, business formation and governance, and business succession planning. Mr. Roberson has assisted clients with navigating estate and trust administration as well as drafting wills, trusts and powers of attorney for their estate planning. In addition, Mr. Roberson has assisted business owners with forming different business entities and corporate governance matters including executive compensation and business succession planning for business continuity.
Prior to joining Offit Kurman, P.A., Mr. Roberson worked at a boutique law firm in Charlotte, NC focusing on estate planning and administration, business and corporate law, employee benefits, and commercial real estate transactions. Mr. Roberson received his law degree from Wake Forest School of Law in 2016 and holds undergraduate degrees in accounting and political science from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. While at Wake Forest School of Law, Mr. Roberson was involved with the Journal of Business and Intellectual Property, regularly contributing as a staff member and a contributor to the Journal’s blog. During his last semester of law school Mr. Roberson participated in the Elder Law Clinic and received the CALI award for the highest grade earned in Employee Benefits and Pension Law. Mr. Roberson is the founder and co-author of Beyond the Glass, a blog dedicated to covering legal, business and medical topics and issues in hockey today.
