Offit Kurman’s Construction Law Practice Area attorneys have been serving clients in the construction industry in the mid-Atlantic region for many years. The firm represents subcontractors, general contractors, and owners in all phases of the construction process. For example, construction attorneys represent clients with respect to claims for payment, claims relating to extra work, claims for changes, and claims for delays and lost profits. Our construction lawyers also represent clients in connection with bid protests, mistakes in bidding, and government contracts.
Additionally, our Construction Law Practice members handle mechanic's lien claims and payment bond claims. We also regularly counsel clients concerning the preparation and review of contracts, the preparation of sensitive correspondence, and analysis and submission of claims. In addition to providing quality representation to clients who need traditional legal services, the firm's construction lawyers have served as mediators and as arbitrators in a multitude of construction and other commercial disputes. Our Construction Law Practice Area attorneys also conduct seminars on construction related topics, as well as author articles on construction topics for publication.
