Entertainment Attorney Kevon Glickman Joins Offit Kurman
Kevon Glickman, a well known entertainment attorney, has joined Offit Kurman in its Philadelphia office.
“Kevon brings us experience and a practice that is new and interesting to us,” remarked Theodore Offit, CEO of Offit Kurman. “Kevon serves a different kind of business that, we believe, has a need for representation in the Philadelphia market. His vast experience in running his own businesses as well as his legal skills in this arena makes him uniquely valuable to the entertainment business and the people who work or manage it. Adding Kevon to our staff here is part of our overall growth strategy in Philadelphia and the mid-Atlantic region.
“I am excited to be joining such a dynamic firm,” says Kevon Glickman. “I love businesses, whether they are my own or belong to someone else. My experience as an entertainment business owner lets me really relate to the issues facing other business owners in the same industry.”
In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Glickman is a partner of Invincible Pictures, and the movie mobile phone application “FlixFling”, and owner of Blingnot Media, a “next generation” music label digitally distributed worldwide by Universal Music Group. Mr. Glickman is also a partner and co-owner of radio station, WDST and Radio Woodstock Network in New York.
Mr. Glickman is presently representing, amongst others, the Estate of Teddy Pendergrass, multiple Grammy Award winner, Ms. Lauryn Hill, who is currently headlining the nationally successful “Rock The Bells Tour”, rock group CKY, and author Frank Mathews, whose first novel “Respect the Jux” will be released by Simon & Schuster on September 21st with the motion picture rights signed to Director, F. Gary Gray (“Law Abiding Citizen”, “Juice”, “The Italian Job”).
