History
In 1987, Offit Kurman was established as a niche-practice law firm focused on the needs of privately held businesses, their owners and managers. Originally based outside of Baltimore, the firm placed special emphasis on building long-term advisory relationships with its clients.
Our growth was best described as slow and steady, adding lawyers who could fill particular needs within the practice. However, over the past several years, and in response to burgeoning demand in our market and region, the firm has greatly expanded in size by organic growth and by attracting lawyers and lawyer groups with well-established practices of their own.
Today, Offit Kurman is a dynamic, full-service law firm with clients in the mid-Atlantic region and beyond. Our legal services include commercial litigation, business law, real estate, intellectual property, labor and employment, construction law, estate planning, asset protection, elder law and health care law.
