Sandra Brooks’ practice focuses largely in the area of family law. She dedicates her time assisting clients in matters involving divorce, child custody, visitation, spousal and child support, property division, division of retirement benefits, tax consequences of divorce, mediation, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, negotiating and drafting of separation agreements, litigation and post-judgment proceedings.

Activities
Ms. Brooks is an active member of the American Bar Association, the Maryland State Bar Association, the Women’s Bar Association and the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland.
Outside of work, Ms. Brooks spends her time hiking, skiing, traveling, sewing, planning events and spending time with family and friends.
Previous Work
Prior to law school, Sandra was a judicial intern for the Honorable John Turnbull, II, the Baltimore County Circuit Court Administrative Judge. During law school, Ms. Brooks served as a law clerk for the Law Office of William H. Roberge, Jr. Thereafter, she began her legal career as a tax controversy associate in Rockville, Maryland. Sandra was a family law associate with Ms. Hepfer for two years prior to the affiliation of the Law Office of Cheryl Lynn Hepfer with Offit Kurman.
