Meghan devotes her practice to insurance recovery, white collar crime and complex commercial litigation.
Meghan has represented companies in fields such as energy, finance, construction, manufacturing and retail in commercial litigation disputes. She has analyzed available insurance coverage under environmental, professional, directors and officers, and commercial general liability policies, and has represented clients in evaluating and litigating claims against their insurance company for bad faith and breach of contract. Meghan has a particular interest in insurance issues facing developers, design professionals, contractors and others on sustainable or green building projects.
In addition, Meghan represents individuals and companies involved in federal criminal investigations and prosecutions, with a focus on white collar matters, such as securities fraud, identity theft, mail fraud, and money laundering. Meghan is well-versed in the intricacies of the Federal Sentencing Guidelines and relevant case law, and particularly cognizant of the highly sensitive nature of these matters. In addition, she has been involved in cases that resulted in sentences well below the federal guidelines on more than one occasion.
