Practice Focus

Ms. Vladeck is a skilled commercial litigator with expertise in many areas.  Ms. Vladeck has successfully defended many matters in both State and Federal Courts, including a multi-million dollar fraud and conspiracy case in the Eastern District of Virginia.  She primarily represents commercial real estate clients in all facets of litigation, including defense of claims under the Fair Housing Act and local discrimination laws.  Ms. Vladeck provides critical insight and support in all stages of the litigation process, including discovery, pre-trial disputes, and dispositive motions.  Ms. Vladeck has also drafted appellate briefs for the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia and Fourth Circuits, the Maryland Court of Appeals, and the Maryland Court of Special Appeals.

Previous Work

Ms. Vladeck is a former law clerk to the Honorable Mary Ellen Barbera, Court of Appeals of Maryland  (2009-2010). During law school, she clerked in the Economic Crimes Division of the United States Attorney’s Office, Southern District of Florida, where she worked on an ongoing prosecution for a viatical fraud case and wrote memoranda on specific criminal law issues such as standards for trial severance, charging continuing offenses, and conspiracy withdrawal.  She also served as a research assistant to two professors, and as an intern to the Honorable Kenneth Ryskamp, Southern District of Florida.
