Practice Focus

Mr. Turet handles a broad range of business-related litigation, including business torts, financial institution litigation, real estate litigation and complex contractual disputes. In addition, for many years Mr. Turet served as national counsel to several manufacturers in connection with products liability litigation pending against them nationally, including the development and implementation of discovery, settlement and trial strategies. Currently, he handles the defense of individual product liability actions, including those involving asbestos-containing products.

Points of Distinction

Mr. Turet has been awarded an AV rating for his professionalism and the quality of his legal work from Martindale-Hubbell, based upon peer review input. Mr. Turet has been certified as an arbitrator by the Council of Better Business Bureaus, Inc. (BBB), and regularly serves as an arbitrator with respect to private commercial disputes brought to the BBB.

Activities

Mr. Turet is currently a member of the American Bar Association Committee on Business and Corporate Litigation (Business Torts Subcommittee) and a member of the Commercial Litigation Committee of the Defense Research Institute, as well as a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association Business Litigation and Legislative Liaison Committees. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the March of Dimes, Southeastern Pennsylvania Division. Mr. Turet was also the editor of the University of Pennsylvania Law Review while he attended law school.

Publications/Speeches

Mr. Turet has been engaged as a speaker or panel moderator in connection with presentations to insurance industry and professional associations on topics which include asbestos litigation and liability and alternative dispute resolution. Mr. Turet's publications include: Roth, Victor S. M.D., M.P.H., Garabrant, David H., M.P.H. and Turet, Craig F., Health Risk Communication, Ch. 44, A Practical Approach to Occupational and Environmental Medicine (3d ed. 2003).
