Charles Yumkas is head of the firm’s Construction Law Practice Area. Mr. Yumkas concentrates his practice in the areas of construction industry legal problems, lien and bond claims and corporate, business and estate planning.

Activities
Mr. Yumkas participated in numerous construction-related mediations and has received special mediation training including a forty-hour skills-based training program. He also serves as Counsel to the Baltimore chapter of the American Subcontractors Association.
Publications/Speeches
Mr. Yumkas was a contributing co-author of “Construction Business Handbook,” (McGraw-Hill, 1978) and co-authored “Mechanic’s Liens,” (Maryland Institute for Continuing Professional Education of Lawyers, Inc., 1978). He also taught a course on construction law to various design and construction groups. Mr. Yumkas is a frequent guest lecturer on construction issues for several professional and non-professional groups.
