Points of Distinction
Mr. Pelletier successfully defended an inventor in a fraud/arbitration claim brought by an investor in an unreported appellate case; successfully defended at trial a personal representative on a caveat claim; successfully defended a national construction company in a million dollar fraud and consumer protection act claim and successfully defended multiple defendants in bankruptcy fraud claim. Mr. Pelletier also served as co-counsel for annuity issuer in a brief submitted as amicus curiae to United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, successfully defended a major government contractor on various employment discrimination claims and obtained a significant jury verdict for an injured party in claim. Mr. Pelletier is a 1992 recipient of the American Jurisprudence Award in property law.
Activities
Since 2004, Mr. Pelletier has served as a Member of the Maryland Attorney Grievance Commission Peer Review Panel.
