As Chair of the Health Care Practice Area, Steve Kaufman represents professionals and small businesses in a wide variety of business and litigation and business matters, including contracts, employment issues, insurance and commercial disputes. He has provided advice to hundreds of professionals nationwide on a wide variety of employment and professional matters. Mr. Kaufman has also appeared before numerous state and federal courts, arbitration panels and administrative forums.

Mr. Kaufman writes and lectures frequently on health-related and employment matters at the University of Maryland Dental School, Johns Hopkins Hospital, University of Maryland Hospital, Greater Baltimore Medical Center, Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, and to various private and professional groups. Nationally, he is on the Publisher’s Advisory Board for “Doctor of Dentistry” magazine and is a former adjunct professor of law at Villa Julie College, in Baltimore, Maryland.
