Don Foster is a seasoned trial lawyer with a proven track record in the courtroom. He is regularly asked to prosecute or defend to verdict cases involving significant financial risk to the client. His trial and dispute resolution experience is varied and includes matters involving title insurance, agent defalcations, intellectual property, health care, franchising, corporate governance and law firm partnership disputes.

Points of Distinction
Mr. Foster is a member of the Board of Directors of Highmark Blue Cross/Blue Shield, one of the largest Blue Plans in the nation. Prior to the formation of Highmark, he served on the Board of Pennsylvania Blue Shield. He served as Chairman of Highmark's Audit Committee for ten years. Currently, he serves as Chairman of the Investment Committee, and is a member of the Executive Committee and Corporate Governance Committee.
Mr. Foster has been named a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer® consecutively since 2007 by a vote of his peers.
Activities
Mr. Foster is active in professional and community organizations. He was selected to be a member of the American Bar Foundation. He is a former Chairman of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Professional Responsibility Committee and the Federal Courts Committee. He frequently is asked to instruct practicing lawyers on trial practices and procedures and professional responsibility.
Before entering private practice, he worked for two years as a law clerk to the Hon. James S. Bowman, President Judge of the Commonwealth Court and then for two years as a legal consultant to the International Energy Agency in Paris, France.
