Practice Focus
Mr. Allman focuses his practice in the areas of civil, criminal and domestic litigation. Mr. Allman has been involved in handling a broad range of litigation, including disputes involving complex commercial litigation, criminal defense, white-collar crime, telecommunications, bankruptcy litigation and adversary matters, securities arbitration and litigation, real property and construction litigation, and all aspects of domestic or family law cases.

Points of Distinction
Mr. Allman has experience handling and trying cases before State and Federal Courts in Maryland and Virginia, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and handling appeals before the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and Court of Appeals, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Mr. Allman also has experience handling broker-dealer arbitrations before the National Association of Securities Dealers, Inc. Mr. Allman has been involved in multi-million dollar commercial litigation disputes, and has tried cases of significant dollar value to a successful completion.

Activities
Mr. Allman serves as an Adjunct Law Professor at University of Baltimore School of Law and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Golfer's Charitable Association.

Publications/Speeches
Mr. Allman served as a writer and editor of the 2002 Edition of Maryland Practice Forms, a litigation form book for Maryland lawyers, and Going Solo, a publication providing instruction and advice for solo practitioners. Mr. Allman was also appointed to the editorial staff of The Trial Reporter, a quarterly publication of the Maryland Trial Lawyers' Association. Mr. Allman additionally authored two scholarly articles that were published in The Trial Reporter. Mr. Allman also developed curriculum for and taught a class regarding the essentials of legal writing.

Previous Work
Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Mr. Allman worked as the Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable William B. Spellbring, Jr. in the Prince George's County Circuit Court, Upper Marlboro, Maryland.
