Alex Gordon is a member of the Labor and Employment Practice Group. Prior to joining Offit Kurman, Mr. Gordon worked for nine years as an Assistant United States Attorney in the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Maryland, where he represented the federal government in employment discrimination and retaliation matters arising under Title VII and other federal statutes, such as the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA) and the Rehabilitation Act. Mr. Gordon also litigated Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA) and individual capacity constitutional tort cases. As an Assistant United States Attorney, Mr. Gordon first-chaired a dozen trials and argued three cases in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. After law school, Mr. Gordon clerked for the Honorable Deborah K. Chasanow of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland, and then worked as a litigation associate at a law firm in Washington, D.C.
